With Gunnip & Company for more than a decade, Adam is a Partner sharing the leadership role for the firm's accounting and tax compliance, planning and consulting service practices. “Accounting is the language of business. No matter your size, profitability, desire to keep your business or pass it on to the next generation, accounting is always involved,” he says.
Adam’s appreciation for clients who are passionate about their business and have a strong desire to succeed led to the development of Gunnip Entrepreneurial Services (GES). “All entrepreneurs are included. We provide dedicated accounting and tax services for clients ranging from the self-employed, to start-ups, to multi-generation owners,” says Adam, who spearheads GES. Adams’s recent accomplishments include:
- Providing accounting, consulting and tax planning for several start-up businesses as they move forward into their growth stages.
- Advising an established business client facing challenges due to the economy. Adam developed a succession planning strategy to help the client continue their business operations while providing an opportunity for the next generation of ownership.
Clients value Adam’s ability to listen to and anticipate their needs. “Sometimes clients aren’t aware of what they need or even where to start, which is why we’re here to help them. Everyday, I realize how important it is to listen more so that we can assess their needs and put together a plan based on our conversations.”
An experienced speaker, Adam has made numerous presentations at various organizations including businesses and universities on topics related to accounting and tax issues for entrepreneurs, business owners and individuals. He has also served as a judge for the Cottrell Center Business Idea Competition at West Chester University.
